Via 4-in-1 and Asus A7M266?

Should I install all 4 drivers or just the AGP for win98se? I thought it was just the AGP, but after reading Andy's FAQ, he says to install all of them. Now I am confused, hrmm...

I think Andy made a mistake. With all AMD 760 boards, u install all of the 4-in-1's, except the VIA AGP driver, and u install the AMD AGP miniport driver. A7M266 is AMD 760.

The A7M266 requires an AGP driver from AMD.

You DO need the VIA 4-in-1 drivers, but you need it for the SouthBridge. The 4-in-1 package will detect which drivers you need to install, so there is no need to worry.

Athlon4all: where am I wrong?

In case u didn't notice I changed what I said, and as far as the question, I've never seen the 4-in-1's automatically detect what drivers are needed. But the bottom line is that u aren't wrong, but my question is, when has the 4-in-1's ever detected what drivers to install?

Don't install the Via AGP driver.

Do install the IDE Busmaster, the Inf update, and the Irq router. Then install the newest AMD mini-porter driver. Also, there's an Amd/AGP fix for MS Win2k
