:DHi,
I hope you can help wiyh this.
When I went to install the IDE Busmaster Driver by itself ,it asked me to choose between VSD VXD Driver or Miniport Driver.
I chose miniport and it installed an "IDE TOOL utility"
1: did it install driver also?
2: was this the right choice?
3: do you use this utility?

Thanks,
Mort

I think you made the right choice. But as for me, via's most recent busmaster drivers don't work because it recognizes all your ide drives as scsi, and that doesn't work for cdr's.

:DHi,
Thanks for the input.
There is no reference to any Gart driver in device manager.
What heading would it be under?

PS: I have installed the complete 4 in 1 driver set.

Thanks,
Mort
