The only thing that comes to mind is the product called Dazzle, its pretty cheap and allows for numerous imputs

I have video in

Hook your VCR's video-out to the video-in of your video card, and the audio-out into the line-in of your soundcard. Use the capture software that came with your card, or 3rd party application like virtualdub and you should be in buisness as long as your WDM drivers are properly installed.

Be advised that Macrovision will come into play when recording macrovision protected VHS tapes. Go to VCDhelp for loads of PC video info...good luck.
 
I've been working on perfecting this, the biggest problems tend to arise in making sure the capture and conversion programs keep the audio in sync.
