Okay, so I need to get some VHS home video tapes converted to DVD format.
I've got the capture hardware, I've got it set up, and I'm able to import and burn video just fine. Problem is that the VideoStudio 10 software I'm using, even though it says it's encoding directly to "DVD" format, still tacks on another two hours to "render" my video, even if I have added nothing to it (no menus, effects, etc)
These are low-quality tapes and I don't have huge demands for them, so my question is, where can I find software that will capture directly to a DVD-compatible format so I can skip this entire rendering process? Thanks.
