My first Graphics card was some 128mb AGP, guess I was a little late to the party.

Still, it's incredible that I've got 32X the video memory in ONE of my current vid cards...

That's neat. I wish I could remember my first "good" card. It was pre 3Dfx days. It had 4MB and cost nearly $400 at the time. It was a lot of dough to pay out but I was taken in by the beautiful box art and I didn't really know anything about graphics cards. I thought it was a Matrox but I'm not seeing anything on that chart that rings a bell.

Edit: Found it. A Number 9 Imagine 128. Anybody remember them? Damn this card gave me a great feeling to buy.

Ah I remember the Riva TNT from 1998, I was really proud of that card as my first real video card for a custom built machine. Prior to that I used some integrated video on my old 486SX/25 packard bell. but I thought Nvidia had more cards than shown prior to the Riva TNT, was Nvidia just that young of a company?

Countless hours spend playing Tanarus on my Voodoo 1. Hard to believe that was 15 years ago.

I had something else before the Voodoo that wouldn't run all the effects on Tanarus but for the life of me I can't remember it. Too many lost brain cells.

My first card was a Creative Voodoo Banshee... ahh, the good ol' times, when Quake 2 looked like the paragon of photorealism!
