1 problem constantly hounding OS's has been that 64-bit drivers were always seperate from 32-bit drivers. a driver leak by amd suggests they may be changing that at some point. already we heard talk of a 1-size fits all driver floorplan for a driver that would unite mobility, apu, gpu, and onboard gpu's all in one. if these proove to be legit it might be a very interesting world. the chances of this being real are poor however.

AMD already offers unified drivers for their hotfixes and betas, they separate out the release drivers so people don't need to download an extra 100MB they don't need.
