VGA:Zalman VF900LED

Right now I just have the stock cooler on my 7950GT. It keeps it at a cool 45-50C but it's really noisy. For similar performance, is the Zalman VF9000 LED any quieter? Is it worth the $50? And should I use Arctic Silver Adhesive?

vf900 for sure.

Use Ceramique or just the thermal grease that comes with it.

EDIT: oh crap. $50? Did I pay that much for mine lol!??

Get a Thermalright HR-03 instead, better value than the Zalman.

Yup. My X1950 Pro runs cool and quiet.

I use the included fan controller and the GPU never gets over 45c even under load.

I have the same card and the same HS for my GPU and I can tell you that you can not hear the Zalman and it does a great job of keeping my card cool. It's worth the buy.
