I am an MLB.tv subscriber, and I want to figure out a way to connect my laptop to my TV so that I can see the streaming games on the TV. The laptop has an HDMI out (but my TV doesn't have HDMI), and a standard VGA out. Unfortunately, the video card is not capable of transmitting TV-out through the VGA, so I can't just use a VGA->RCA adapter; I need a VGA->RCA converter (also called a "scan converter," I think). Does anybody have experience with this, or have a decent, cheap converter to recommend?
