VGA temp program?

Is there a program that detects the temperature for the VGA? I have a radeon 9700 pro and an Abit IS-7 motherboard. Thanks.

Only if your card has the appropriate monitoring hardware.

I know the 6800 GTs & Ultras do, and all Asus cards at least as far back as the GF3, but as I've never owned a 9700, I have no idea if they do.

For ATi cards, only the 9800XT and newer cards have it. The 9600XT has it too I believe. So no, you won't be able to monitor your card with software, you'll need to install a diode manually.
