VGA silencer conflicting with RAM sinks?

If I get thermaltake ramsinks for my 9800, will the VGA silncer interfer with them? Or Does the VGA silcer clear the ram by enough height? Sorry if this sounds conmfusing. Thank you.

i have the vga silencer and slapped on ocz copper ramsinks [16x13x9mm] with room to spare...

I have a Hercules 9700pro no problems with RAM heatsinks clearance
Only problem while installing was with the heatsink at the back of that GPU
But that?s not a problem for you

Do I put the ramsinks on the bottom or top side of the video card? or both?

Top and bottom to get all 8 memory chips.

Okay, What ramsinks do you recommend that will not interfer with my VGA silencer?

I'm using thermal take chips with a vga silencer. The profile's low enough not to interfere. Make sure you put the silencer on first, then worry about the rest.

i used thermal take ram sinks on my 9600xt under a vga scilener with no problem. Make sure you have air blowing on the ramsinks or they are useless tho.
