VGA Silencer arrives

Well, just got it from the egg a day ahead of time, I gotta haul some leaves away, but i'm gong to install it in the next hour or so, i'll post back and share my results, I hope I don't mess up! You guys really sold me on it, and from just spinning the fan with my finger, it looks like its gonna be QUIET :)

which one you get? the ATI silencer 2,3 or the older rev 3 VGA silencer? Id be interested in your results since my 9800pro stock cooling is mad loud

i have the vga silencer aswell, really silenced the card. It lowered my case temp and increased my overclock aswell :D

One word... WOW. My system is absolutely silent now, all I hear are the whines of capacitators. I LOVE this thing. I had a bit of trouble getting the stock heatsink off though. Let's just say that there's no way it'll be going back on ;) 5 stars to Arctic Cooling, they make my CPU cooling combo also, and now i've got this, and i'm very pleased. Thanks to all for your help/input in my other thread, it was useful. Now, TIME TO OVERCLOCK! :D

Ah, the rev 3. This sounds very reassuring. Do you need to passively cool the ram btw?

My RAM is just there chillin'. It isn't really that warm to the touch, so I don't think it needs any RAMsinks. But there's space left, should I change my mind :)
