Greetings everyone!
Ok, I have some questions for you.
Recently I bought a Asus GTX650-Ti card. It is a great card and I had lots of improvements in relation to my old one (HD5750).
So here's the deal.
Every time I started a game (Black Ops 2, Far Cry 3, DmC...), white horizontal lines appear on my screen. They're barely visible, best seen on dark surfaces.
I've tried another cable (standard VGA cable, my monitor doesn't have other inputs), tried another monitor (also VGA), reinstalled the drivers, and the problem persisted.
So I've returned the card and asked for a new one. I added some money and ordered Sapphire 7850. One guy told me he had the exact same problem with white lines in games with this card.
I've also found some other posts (on this forum and on the internet) that confirm the same thing, naming the DVI-to-VGA adapter as the cause of the problems.
So I wanted to ask, if I plug my VGA cable into this adapter, and then into the 7850, will I get the same problem again?
If I do, does that mean that the card is not working properly, or just isn't meant to work normally while converting the signals?
If this is the case, I guess it's easy to solve it - buy a monitor with an HDMI input.
Also, is this a common problem with 7850 or any other new cards (like the one I had, GTX650Ti)?
