VGA input for Laptops??

Well, yeah, after reading Tom's Harware article about making your own projector, and finding out my brother's PIII/Celeron Dell laptop was dead, I thought I'd give it a try! 🙂

All went well, twiddling and taking it apart with my buddy Greg. However, what we didn't expect when we took it apart was the VGA input problem!!! 🙁 I will take and post some pics later on, but are SOL or are there some known converters to display the VGA (or DVI) inputs for laptop displays??!! 😀

Laptop displays do not use VGA input. They're either on parallel digital, or LVDS transmitters. This isn't compatible to DVI either.
