I've purchased one used that ghosts the image on the screen. No problem, I thought, it was cheap and used anyway, and it gets the job done temporarily. However, when I wen to Fry's and purchased a new one, it did the exact same thing. Is there a way around this? Is there a particular brand I should be buying?

Never had any luck with an extension cable no matter how much it cost. I was told that a better quality one would solve the problem. Never found one.

Make one using cat5 cable. The braiding will eliminate the EM cross talk between the wires resulting in a clean signal. A friend of mine made an extremely long VGA cable for his projector using cat5, and it works beautifully.

Hope that helps!

If you check Home theater forums.. generally recommended is RG6 cable.. Co-ax like what your TV uses.. but not cheap stuff.. need good well shielded stuff.. but this might be to much work/bother depending on how long you need it but apparently the results are supurb..
