VGA (d-sub) to TV Converter

Hi

I have a laptop which is a few years old which does not have a TV-Out port. I was wondering if there is a quick and easy converter that can be plugged into the d-sub port for the vga monitor, and can convert to a TV connection of some kind?

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There are conversion boxes from Avermedia, etc. but they cost $75 and up.

($82 at newegg, Item #: N82E16814100011 no idea how good this one is)

What sort of TV connection do you have?
RCA/SVHS/SCART etc...
Some are easier to get convertors for than others.

Also, i think you can get USB devices designed to do this sort of thing, but you probably wouldnt save any money by doing it that way.
