I bought a super-cheap Xbox 360 VGA cable. And of course, it has horrible ghosting problems. I know this is because of insufficient shielding, but what is the best way to fix this?

I only saw one example of someone fixing this, which involved taking out every individual wire and shielding it. Is that the best way to go?

Yes, the cable was the one from monoprice.

No, I won't care if I mess up a $7 cable.

I picked that up for $15 shipped on ebay. It was used but it got the job done free of ghosting, unlike my previous cheap cable.

i just bit the bullet and went hdmi.

i used the hacked component cable for optical out for awhile, till i found a cheap official microsoft hdmi adapter, with optical out on it.

iz good man.
