VGA BIOS Flashing?

Can anyone tell me how to Flash my VGA bios?
i have a gigabyte gts 240 512mb card.
the fan is running way too loud, and Gigabyte support tells me to flash my vga bios with one of their files.

help please.

You need a bootable flash drive/CD/floppy with DOS and a copy of NVFlash. The rest should be fairly simple.
