VGA and DVI

Hi everyone! I just ordered the Dell 2001FP (20.1 inches) flat panel monitor an I had a question or two about DVI and VGA.

1.- Will VGA give decent image quality at 1600x1200?

2.- Is a VGA to DVI adapter worth it, and is there a substantial difference between satandard VGA conection?

3- If the answer to 2 is yes, then where is a good pace to find one?

And I have a laptop, so it is not possible to upgrade to a DVI graphics card (but I could upgrade it)

VGA will be what I would call decent, but having used DVI, I will never be going back to VGA. The increased sharpness and crispness of the image is like night and day.

VGA to DVI adapter I don't think would be worth it, as all the adapter does is change plug shapes. It doesn't do anything to change the signal type, which is really what you need.

Your monitor should come with both a VGA cable and a DVI cable. I think it may have an adapter as well.
