I once used my dog tags once to get a free Blooming onion; they thanked me for my service to our country; something my era didn't hear much.

Probably not a bad deal, if you live outside a military town.

Where I live, with the Air Force base on the edge of town, the lines are enormous on Veterans Day. So much so that I refuse to bother!

I've seen Golden Corral with a line literally wrapped 3/4 the way around the building. Wait in a line that long, for free Golden Corral? HELL NO!
