Very weird problem with Windows XP MCE 2005

After moving the Recorded TV folder around and removing the harddrive that it was originally on (replacing it with a new harddrive and moving the Recorded TV folder there), MCE refuses to let me into the Recorder Storage page.
How can I reset the settings for the Recorder Storage or force MCE to let me into that page?

Using google I didn't find anything for this problem and I have already tried setting the Recorder Storage location to different drives using TweakMCE ... still nothing.

Please help!!!!

Refuses how?

When I click on or select (with the mouse, remote or keyboard) the tab for Recorder Storage Settings absolutely nothing happens.
No beep, blink, flicker, hesitation, BSOD, ... simply nothing.

Very frustrating.

If you use system restore, you can always try rolling the computer back a day or two. What format did you use on the new drive? I believe MCE needs NTFS.

If all else fails, I suggest you do as mentioned above and might need to find a way to reinstall Media Center

I will try system restore.
New drive is formatted with NTFS and works fine.
MCE can even record shows to the new drive if I change the recording path in the registry.
I believe though that MCE does not know how much space is available on the new drive nor how much it is supposed to use.

In media center go to Settings : TV: Recorder: Recorder Storage

Make change there to locate and select new drive.

Are you saying that Windows will not allow you to do this.

Make changes in Media center only not using Windows Explorer

Did you try System Restore yet? Curious to see if that helped you at all.

I did not have any restore points before this happened in January 2007.
And it does not let me go to any previous months (maybe there are none saved?).
I had not changed anything with this system for months.
