very weird problem...i have no clue

hey everyone. how goes it? well this just started tonight...it happned once and i was like "oh whatever"...but when it happened again, i knew something was up. so heres what happens. all of a sudden, if theres audio playing, it locks up and loops like it does when your comp freezes. my mouse works, but i cant click anything...and my keyboard doesnt work...and then all of a sudden the screen goes to standby just like when you overclock too high and your comp wont boot up, but it turns on (if that makes sense)...anyway....i havent changed anything in the past few days...so im not sure what it could be. let me know what you guys think
 
sounds like the problem i am having however in my case upon reset it wont boot from the disk and it comes up with disk read error.
a clear cmos or change on the sata slot heals it.
