Very weird CS problem

I've been playing CS for several months without a problem until now. I just tried to join several games and everytime the authentication process failed. I have a legal copy of Half-Life.

It said that I need to go to WON.net for authentication. But when I went there I didn't see anything regarding authentication. Does anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks.

I suppose you mean your CD key is refused? If that's the case, hmm try re-installing and re-entering your key.
But I heard there's a problem with some keys just being refused for no apparent reason. In that case you either have to send in your CD and you'll get a new key (well and CD, too), or wait till Valve (this is a HL and not a CS problem) comes up with a solution, which might come in the near future.

a friend of mine has this problem also, someone may have gotten a hold of your cdkey, thru a generator or other means. won.net has a problem of refreshing the info and it seems to happen to only a few people with certain keys. very frustrating, but all my friend said you could do is hope won.net fixes this bug. try writing them a letter and letting them know that you have a problem, as it is most likely their fault and not yours.
