Hi all.. I recently setup the system in my signature. I enabled SLI, it appeared to work, I went into Quake 4 and the game worked perfectly. I then tried half life 2 and that also worked perfectly, serious sam 2 as well.

When I tried far cry during the loading screen the screen would flash to this weird bar/grid type pattern thing and then flash back to the loading screen. It did that off and on but when the game loaded it ran fine.

I then tried doom 3 and that had a diagonal line/flickering problem throughout the whole thing (intro movies, menus, game etc), and also did the same sort of loading screen thing as far cry.

Fears menus and intro screens worked, its test configuration option in the settings works fine too which runs a demo of your settings, but when i went to load the game I got the flash to grid pattern thing during the load screen and then flickering/diagonal lines inside the game.

I then tried morrowind oblivion, it exhibited the same behavior as FEAR, menus worked fine etc. Interestingly when I alt-tabbed out of morrowind and tabbed back, the flickering/diagonal lines issue was gone.

Does anyone have any idea whats going on? I've got the latest nforce drivers (although I didn't install their ide driver nor nv firewall/activearmor) and the latest nvidia drivers.

Interesting development on it, when I alt tabbed out of morrowind the problem went away. I was also able to get it to go away permanently in doom 3 by enabling 4x AA (same setting quake 4 uses). It would go away if I enabled the AA then restarted the game. Once in the game I could turn it off and it'd be fine, but on the next restart it would be messed up again unless I turned it back to 4x aa. Very weird... Definitely not an overclocking or hardware problem though, and the card temps seem fine (45-60c).
