Well I've got these two cd's with Mp3's from a buddy of mine. The strange things is that using W2K alot of the files can't be played or copied from the cd. They are listed when I look in explorer but upon loading or copying them it tells that the format can't be read or it can't be copied.

Here is the trick:
I have NO problems whatsoever by copying or playing them in W98.

I haven't talked to him yet but he is also using W2K and therefore I find this problem very strange.

I'm logged in as a user with Administrator rights. The only special about my setup is that I'm using the via 4.28 beta's. All of my other cd's (burned and original) are working perfectly.

Hmm... If anybody could give me an idea about what's happening...

Today I have got this problem confirmed. The computers at our school which uses NT 4.0 have the same issue with reading them. Also another who borrowed the cd's had the same problems.

According to my friends that owns the cd's, they have been able to play at the PC's at our school without any problems. The pc that he burned the cd with used W2K.

Could this be some kind of permission for files thing?

Still confused
