Hi,

I made the step to dsl about two months ago and obviously got a network card for this.
Ever since I put it in my windows boot time has gone from sub 1 min to like 3 or so (even on a fresh install) since nothing else changed is this a config prob or what?

Thanks
my rig

No, this is pretty normal.
Take out your network card and it should boot at regular speed.
For some reason when computers need to connect to a network or grab an IP they boot up a lot slower

Just disable your network card in device manager and reboot. See if it goes back to the quicker reboot speed. I agree with khtm, you will just have to live with it...
