I'm not sure this is a refresh rate problem, but here it is. When I left click on something, if I don't concsiously make sure the mouse cursor is motionless at the moment I click it, it doesn't register. Also, if I click within a Word document and then quickly move the mouse cursor, I end up highlighting the adjacent text. Sounds like slow refresh rate to me.
Anybody else notice this? Any fixes within Windows 98 and Windows 2000? I would prefer not to have to install any third party apps to fix this, I can't believe that this is normal. It definitiely slows me down having to constantly force myself to slow down whenever I am about to use any of my mouse buttons.
