Got out of work today and called home to ask if my parents needed me to pick up my little bro at football practice.... My dad told me that my brothers best friend from middle school OD'd on heroin sometime today... I don't know what to say... I feel absolutly horrible for his family and for my brother. He used to spend a lot of time over at our house playing games, watching moves, sleeping over... I remember spending hours playing GoldenEye on the n64 over at his house on the weekends or going back in the woods to play airsoft. Bike rides to the J&M during the summer to get coolatas and a sandwitch. Hell even playing Warhammer 40k with him when I used to play. I don't know what happend or how he got down the path he took but it is a tragedy. Only 18 years old......

If you can find the time please include their family in your prayers tonight.

I dont understand the big interest in that drug, there are much better, less dangerous drugs around, that let you be socialable at the same time.

Its all a matter of personal preference.
 
you know its a rough life growing up in white suburbia having tons of friends to play warhammer, n64 and airsoft with. No wonder he turned to heroin to solve his problems.

This is not a tragedy, a tragedy are the thousands of children that go starving for days on end in third world countries. I do feel bad for the parents tho.
