Okay, I got all my parts and I am getting ready to install everything. I have come across my first problem. When trying to fit the motherboard in the case, it wont fit because of the port openings on the case are the wrong types of sizes and patterns of the ports on the motherboards side. I have provided a picture to show what I mean. Perhaps a pretty noobish question, but do I have to break it off the case in order for it to fit?

here is the pic!

Any help is appriciated! Thanks!!

You have to put in the I/O shield that came with your motherboard. (The metal thing that looks like the port openings in the back. To do that take out the I/O shield from ur case and put in the I/O shiled that came with ur mobo.

Yeah, that's an ASUS K8v, right? It should come with an IO shield.
