Very Quick Question about VGA Cable

This is a stupid question, but what type of VGA cable to I use to connect a computer to the monitor/TV?

Is it Male to Male or Male to Female?

I just got a new monitor and don't want to make a silly mistake by ordering the wrong type.

Your monitor didn't come with one? I'm pretty sure it's the male to female, but I'm too lazy to look.

It's male to male. Virtually every device comes with the female port (so it accepts a male terminated cable). The only reason you'd ever want a female terminated cable is for extending or splitting a cable run.

Get the male to male.
