Hey-
I bought a leadtek Geforce 4 4400 and installed in on my epox mobo and everything seemed fine. 3dmark2k1 gave me around 10000 3dmarks (running on an xp2000+)
Using the results browser, this seemed about right.
However, I switched to an Iwill XP333 mobo (epox died on me) and suddenly stuff started running like crap. My 3dmark score is now about 6000
I have gotten the newest bios, installed the newest AGP drivers etc, tried different vid card drivers. It is running at 4x AGP speed, not sure whats wrong.
One test in particular that just chugged in 3dmark 2k1 is the vertex shader test (the one with the bunch of matrix guys shooting each other on a bare floor, I get 11FPS)
The rest of the tests also suffered around a 20fps drop or more.
I have tried changing features in the bios, nothing seems to help though.
LMK if you have any ideas of what could be wrong.
oh yeah, running WinXP, 512 RAM, SB Live Audigy
Thanks guys
