my main rig is a 1.2 ghz tbred w/ 768 mb pc-133 on asus a7v133..
i am running the old sob client b/c the new one apparentlyslows down amd performance..
i used to get 165K cems/s constant throughout.. i know k and n values matter but now i am nearly 200K (and sometimes slightly over) cems/sec w/out changing anything at all...
that's not an issue..its actually a good thing!
secondly, whenever i play soldier of fortune 2 multiplayer sob either runs at 10, 20 , 30, or 40 Kcems/sec or remains running at say 180Kcems/sec. with the exact same settings! (i run 1280x1024 w/ everything maxed on a radeon 9700 pro. so the gpu is doing most of the work..). its very odd how sometimes it runs at next to nothing and other times after like an hr of gaming its still at 180K constant...

my client has been freezing a lot lately and i dont know why (at 100%) . i know that this is a known problem but i've never had this problem until lately.
any ideas outside of iinstalling the installer?
