Very odd problem

Not sure if this should be in software forum or not. But for some odd reason Desert Combat is rebooting my system. What funny is I can play it without a single problem but once I hit esc to exit it reboots my system 6 out of 10 times. I've had it do it 3-4 times today.

What could the problem be? It only does it in DC and nothing else. Havent tried BF1942.

Any ideas?

Not sure but why wouldnt it do it while DC is running and instead of when I hit esc.

reinstall DC, sounds like a software issue.

is it crashing, and restart?

if it was PSU or something it would likley be triggered by keyboard strike.

as soon as I hit esc it goes to a black screen like its taking me back to the server browser but doesnt make it. Kills my HDD power and restarts. At post my HDD spins/powers back up and the systems boots to windows.

Only time it does this is when I hit esc in DC. Windows XP and other games are rock solid.

i still guess a reinstall will do it, it sounds like a problem with that program, possible virus/bug activity, have you run adaware 6 lately? it's free and works great.
