ive been in the process of building a computer for my dad:
GIGABYTE GA-G33M-DS2R
E2160
4GB ram
antec earthwatts 380w
now im just so fucking pissed off with this computer
i have tried 4 cpus, 3 sets of ram, 2 psus
2 cpus are dual cores
the other 2 are quads
both of the quads will post fine, both of the duals will not
ive reset the cmos as well.
with the duals in i get no beeps
with quads in i get 1 beep and it boots up
with dual in and no ram i get 3 beeps
so i am going to have to change the motherboard next..
whats even more strange is about 3 months ago when i first built this i had a similar issue but switching out the ram made it work, i let it sit around for a few months, go to use it again, and this crap happens again.
