Hi

guys I just got a new board, abit is7-e and now I hear some strange noise from the speakers durring windows operations, like when I move the mouse :(
most comes when I run something, lets say I start pc mark 2002, the startup logo comes with some music now (noise)

anyone know what is this ? very odd and extreemly annoying, but what bothers me the most is that its not supposed to be this way

please let me know

Thank you
Dan

P.S.
most of the time the noise is like when you have a mic and you move it quickly through air
(my mic and line in are both disabled)
but at times I get buzzing

Dunno. 1) Double check your cable connections. 2) Try speakers on another computer if possible. 3) Install latest audio drivers for the mobo. 4) Try a diff set of speakers that are known to be good.

speakers and cables are good, I just changed the mobo and cpu today, the rest is the same as it was earlier today
I'll go ahead and try drivers

also durring windows boot it makes a type of buzzing noise for like a second, which again is quite odd

Thanks
Dan

Move the speakers (or the case itself) around the desk or away from other components and see what happens. Try removing PCI cards and disabling onboard components to see what's interfering with the sound.

well here is the thing, I didnt change the position of the case, the speakers or the cables when I changed the mobo so Im assuming its an internal problem + it doesnt occur randomly, only when I do something on the machine, like run a prog

no pci cards installed

I'll try disabling integrated stuff

Thanks
