Very nervous about Zalman sink weight, please advise

I'm considering a Zalman S7000 Cu heatsink/fan for a new FX-55 system.
The noise and cooling are what I want, but it's twice the recommended weight. With all the liability warnings about moving the PC, and the fact that the company I'm ordering from won't even ship a machine with this HS on it - I'm just plain nervous about whether or not to buy it.

I need to know what level of moving it would take for the heavy Zalman sink to destroy my new FX chip (or MB - or both)?
Could someone who has one please tell me if I would have to put on gloves and handle my machine like a 50lb Faberge Egg, or am I just paranoid - would be perfectly fine for practical use (picking it up, setting on desk, laying it flat, replacing HDDs, etc.)?

and the AlCu is just as effective, just as quiet, cheaper, and nearly 1/2 the weight.

here is another option if weight/space is a concern, I don't know about the cooling differences between the zalman and this though, thermaltake's are often overrated.

Moving it around your desk shouldn't be a problem. If you go to lan parties and such, then it may become a problem. I have a Thermalright SLK900a, which is really heavy, but haven't had any problems.

Thanks to you both. I'm going to go with the 1/2 aluminum version recommended by lobadobadingdong. The weight is right, and I don't plan on OCing anyway.
Now I just have to make sure I don't break anything installing it ... never done this before.

that AlCu will let you overclock to your hearts content....should you change your mind!

the zalman is just quieter and has better conductivity because of the copper.

I put a Zalman 6000 on a system I built for my daughters last year,Socket 462 XP2100. Its not that big a deal,it has more weight than normal but is easy to install with that special clip push down tool they include. You won't believe how well it cools with so little noise. Wish I'd bought one for my system so I could get this screaming Coolermaster Heat pipe HSF off that runs at 7200 RPM.

Get one,you'll like the way it works and the far out looks!
