Take a look at this website - tracks contributions by sectors - it makes you wonder why these groups don't use their money in better ways. All it does is show how corrupt the system is. Parties held hostage by lobbyists. This link shows what unions contributed to Dems in 2000 (certainly didn't get them anywhere that year or in 2004), but there are just as many sectors that totally support GOP.
One other thing - estimated cost of 2004 was $4 billion - why has it come to this? What do you all think?
