This is an interesting lecture, and I know that I am required to by rule to comment on it. I'm really not qualified to discuss any of what she talks about, since I know very little about Mexico.
It really sounds like an example of corrupt capitalism run amok. It makes me understand why the hell people would want to leave.
At 51 minutes, she discusses possible solutions. Maybe it's just because I'm watching the video now, but I'm more inclined to agree with the US giving the Mexican economy a hand. It may save us money in the long run.
Edit: Be careful, she assumes everyone who is watching speaks Spanish. Also, yes, the dude in the orange shirt finally calms down only to pop back up later.
