If they know that signup processing would be delayed because of this, the LEAST they could do is go ahead and send everyone an email awaiting a response from signing up.

I did get an initial confirmation email from them within 5 minutes after I placed the order. This was the morning of the last day of the promo.
Since then, I haven't got anything. I'll be a bit more skeptical if I don't get anything by Monday at the latest.

SWEET!!!!!!!!! Just got an Email...
Subject: ViaTalk LLC has sent you a package!
Hope all those waiting get their Email today as well.
My only question is, what is my ViaTalk Client ID? I have the form to transfer my number but it requires that and I don't know what it is. Can't find it on my Account page either.
EDIT: Anyone else having problems getting to ViaTalk's page? I was able to log in and change my password but when trying to look around on their page I'm getting timeouts now. Oh, and their page is *SLOW*. Hope I don't have to use it much... :-/

Haven't got my shipment confirmation yet. When did you submit your order? Maybe your client ID will come with the package.

Got my ViaTalk package yesterday. Plugged it into my Linksys WRT54G (DDWRT Firmware) and it was online almost instantly. I thought, it can't be up that quick can it? Sure enough - dial tone. Nice! I have only called my cell phone so far but incoming and outgoing calls work fine. The incoming CallerID from my cell to ViaTalk displayed my name and number. Outbound CallerID displayed only my number when I called my cell from ViaTalk. I left a test voicemail and I received it in Email shortly after (I have the message forwarding setup). So far this is pretty impressive.

Why not just use Skype?
Because when you totally ditch your landline and cellphone and depend on VOIP you want to be able to talk to people who don't carry around a wifi enabled laptop with them everywhere they go.Originally posted by: DAGTA
