Very High Temps With i5, Could It Be the PSU?

So I just built my new rig and the temperatures seem to be incredibly high. I know that the i5's, especially the 3570k's, run fairly hot. I am using the stock heatsink right now, but I am getting an aftermarket immediately. I am just wondering if my PSU has anything to do with the temperatures. Temps are idling around 45-50C, which seems wayyyyyyy too hot and when I was playing WoW last night they got up into the 85-90C range.

Setup:

Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4
CPU: Intel i5 3570k @ stock
Vid Card: EVGA GTX 560 Ti
PSU: OCZ ModXstream Pro 600W
Memory: Kingston HyperX 8GB (4x2) DDR3 1866
Storage: Corsair Neutron Serious 120GB SATAIII

Thank you

The PSU would be one of my last suspects. Check if your cooler is mounted correctly, and check the case. Are the fans spinning? The correct way? Are the exhausts free of cats?

All fans are spinning. The stock heatsink did seem a bit shoddy and its a tool-less design so it is difficult to tell if the contact is reasonable because you cant tighten anything to ensure contact.

Contact is achieved through proper application of thermal paste/grease. Before applying new, make sure all the old is gone. Remember - a very thin layer. Too much is as bad as not enough.

If it is an Intel stock Heatsink, make sure those pins and inserted all the way and locked.

Well, I just popped the plastic tabs out from the backside of my mobo and then re-secured everything in and twisted the secure tabs and temps are now down to 25-30 idle.

Intel needs to scrap that whole design. I have had no fewer than 3 of those wear out and no longer latch.
