Very good ISP :D

I have a ping of 15 - 40 ms from far away servers !!!!! And my upload and download speeds are well over the rated speeds, and my isp is still adding serverers and plans to doulble the bandwidth to the backbone within the next week or 2 ... I been loving this, my ISP has also got to be the smallest in the US ..

mine's good too. for 56k.. [gears turning] maybe it's time for something a little quicker. I GUESS it's startin to annoy me a little. perhaps when the truck's paid off, I'll give it some more thought.
Now wait a second. you're getting 15-40 pings across the world??? or just cross-country?

no there not that far away ,, there like half was across US.. in quake3 its 60 so im not really all that sure.. But speeds are still great, I have MDM cablespeed, only available in this state. Very small network (thats what makes it fast)

I have OOL, they are not small. but VERY fast. I use an OLD Mot Sb2100D modem and get 5Mb+ thru my linksys router. A lot of guys with newer modems get 8Mb+. that's FAST for $39 mos ($29 if you get their crappy cable TV)

What's OOL?? Could you post their URL?? 5 or 8 Mbs for a cable modem service is wicked fast!!! What area do you live?? Don't tell me you're the only household in the radius of 10 miles 'cause there aren't any other people to share bandwidth w/ you...

Nope, I live in what is most likely the most densly populated area of the country. Northern, NJ about 20mn outside of NYC. Congested enough for you
OOL is Optimum Online provided by Cablevision (owners of the NY Knicks, The wiz, etc). I believe they mainly operate in the northeast. Primarily, NJ, NY and CT for the most part.
I would probably get 50Mbs if I lived in the sticks.
