VERY FUNNY: Check out my friend's Cartoonist site!

A friend of mine has been doing drawing forever. He started his own company about a year ago making cartoons.

He posts a new cartoon every Monday-Saturday and you can also sign up for a free mailing of the cartoons to you 6 days a week. Tell him Matt sent ya if you sign up. I don't get anything obviously, but he likes to know how you found the site and I am also curious to see how many people from here will subscribe (I want to see how big the Anandtech Affect can be).

Make sure to browse the archives as well.

I think it would be fun to post your favorite cartoons as well for others to see as a quick reference. You can either post a link or tell what day the cartoon was for.

Also, let me know what you all think as well. He's a great cartoonist and I wanted you all to be able to experience his work and laugh while you're all at it.

Spread the word as well. Tell all of your friends/co-workers/relatives about it as well.

Here's the link:

How many have you looked at? If you only looked at a few, look back at more. He uses culture that most people can relate to. For example, here is one spoofing Dirty Dancing
....ha. Sorry. It wasn't funny.

But yes, I read a month's worth of strips. Decent artist, just mediocre humour.

Very good.

And yes, very Far Side-ish. Very Far Side-ish.

Unfortunately, too much so. His work kinda screams "I'm a copycat of Gary Larson!" (Rightfully or not. I hate to say that, but sadly it's true.)

I did enjoy his cartoons. I thought they were quite good.

Not all of them are super funny, but I had a good laugh at a number of them. Uses more pop culture than Far Side. Artwork is great.

Exactly, which is why it's called Pop CultureShock Therapy.

Thanks for the positive feedback
