This is great - I have a lot of songs (Beethoven is worst) where quiet parts are nearly inaudible, and loud parts really blast if I set the volume to hear the quiet parts. During the day, that's not really a problem (loud is good 😉), but at night, it's enough of a problem that I can't listen to some songs without headphones.

This plugin dynamically adjusts the volume so that it's relatively constant (you can set how much adjustment it does). It works great.

That looks great...I'll have to give it try. It may be enough to make me switch back to Winamp (currently using QCD player). 😀

Not really. Dynamic range is a large part of the "experience" of good music. Music that's always the same volume isn't as good. It's just that sometimes, I can't deal with constantly adjusting the volume to keep it at not-wake-people up levels 😉.
