Heres the deal. My harddrive fried. So, I put in my old one which had already been formatted to this motherboard and windows setup. But, for some reason some drivers were missing. I went to install my sound drivers first using my CD. At about 90% when it says "installing sound drivers" my PC will restart. Then it will boot windows and stay booted for about 3 seconds before rebooting again. This is a cycle and continues. So, I take the card out of my PC and can boot into Windows... I then use drivercleaner to clean out maybe prexisting drivers and download the driver from creative's website. I start up the install and it says it cannot detect a card even though it is put in the motherboard. I then try installing using the CD and the previous happens at about 90% when it says "installing sound drivers" my PC will restart... and so on and so on.

If anyone can help with this very frustrating problem please do...

Sure the original drive was the original problem and not something else? The dead HDD may have been the result of another problem.
