Some boards like most from Asus will automatically reset themselves to a "safe" fsb speed and voltage after a failed attempt like that. If your board lacks this feature you can always clear the CMOS to restore the settings, either by shorting a jumper or removing the CMOS battery itself.
.....and, on an Abit board, if the ?INS? key doesn?t work, just shut down and restart about 3 or 4 times. That'll bring it back with default settings. The third time always worked for me ( never understood 'why' that worked, but it does ).
