All video is very color distorted, colors are all wrong or even inverte. This includes playing DVD's using PowerDVD, as well as Xvid and Divx files, or even uncompressed AVI. This is a install of windows that is 2 days old, i have WMP10, Nvidia drivers 77.72, and i recently installed the most recent version of klite codec pack before even trying any video. I somehow doubt they are the cause, since powerdvd seems affected as well.

If anyone can help PLEASE i'm about to take a baseball bat to my machine!

Ok if anyone wants to help feel free to chime in, It keeps going back to the default color profile which makes video look horrible, why are the new nvidia drivers screwed up like this? Is there anyway i can cahnge the new color profile i amde to be the default for it? I've tried reinstalling the drivers for the card a few times already no effect.

I can't help much, but you might want to try nvnews.net. It's the official nvidia forums.

I think I have this problem too. It doesn't seem to happen when I use quicktime player but all else (windows media 9, 10, divx player). The other strange thing is when I open up a video using one prog and then another vid with another prog, the 2nd app has the correct color.

Yeah apparently it's a known bug in the drivers.
