Ok, I've been trying to play F.E.A.R., and most of the time that I open the game, it is very jerky. This doesnt include only the game itself, but the the menu animations, the mouse movements, and the pre-game company movies. EVERYTHING LAGS and is jerky. This only happens in this game. I've patched it to 1.06 and still get the problem. Any help?
 
So hang on, the menus are jerky but the game is fine? I had terrible jerkiness in-game, but that was caused by having only 1GB of RAM at the time; upgrading to 2GB cleared that right up.

Not sure what's happening to you if the menus are lagging. Do you have internet explorer/Firefox open in the background? If so, animated GIFs in the background could be the problem...
