hey, i have a slight problem in that everytime the computer is turned on for the first time every day the network card does not come on. i have 2 D-Link network cards a CNET and Zonenet. now the dlink ones are the msot expensive so i expect them to work.
so the computer is left off overnight, but still mains powered. with the Dlink cards, they just dont come on at all, with the CNET card, the computer recognises that there is a network card present, but i cannot use the internet or email.......and when i try to repair, it says TCP/IP in not connected!
the computer wont even acknowledge that there is a network card present with the cheap zonenet card so im not gonna use it again
the wierd bit is, i have a thermal take thermo electric cooling device.....and stranges as this mayseem, when i turn on for the first time in the day, this also doesnt work properly (thermal take sub zero 4g) the blue LED flashes telling me its not working. but eveytime this cooler stops workin so does the network its wierd!
there is nothin rong with the network cards, they work jus fine in another rig, i have swapped everything round in side and put the thermal take cooler unit at the bottom...away from everything else and it still does it!......my friend sold me the computer and it worked perfect at his house.....only thing thats changed is that i put a 9500pro in place of the GF3, but theres 400w psu in there so all should be fine
a quick reboot solves the problem, but its annoying to have to keep restartin to use a computer!
