Very annoying mouse problem in Win Me!!!

Hi guys I was wodering if any of you that are running Win Me and a Logitech trackman ball have experienced the same problem as me. The mouse just complete lags when I move the mouse some times it won't even move at all or it would move very slowly, and when I move it to fast it just barely moves. I adjusted the movement on the mouse properties, but it remains the same. I downloaded the Mouseware for Win me from the Logitech site. It would work a little bit better after the Mouseware install, but still it fells very slow at times.
I know this is a problem with Win Me only because I "tri-boot" (is there such a word?) Win 2000, Win 98SE and Win Me in the same computer, antd it only happens in Win Me the other Windows versions work just fine. Do anybody here has encountered the same problem,a nd if so what did you do to fix it? I f I'm not able to fix this I'm just gonna get rid of Win Me, for this problem is very annoying. So please any help would be appreciated.

i had this same problem. the only difference for me was that the mouse would be extremely jumpy when the hard drive did something. I turned off dma on my hd. Then it was fine. NOW! im all scsi =) and i dont got win me no more! =)

I also ran winme with the problem of a laggy mouse, and I finnally fixed it with a manual change of the IRQ. No conflicts or anything like that, but when I changed it, worked just fine from then on... Don't know if that will be your solution, but worked fo rme.
BTW, I have a wirless logitech.... (maybe it's a logitech thing?)

my logi works fine with ME. the 9.0 mouseware drivers that Logi says to NOT use with ME works fine in ME. but ME's own drivers are fine, u just can't assign buttons.

u guys just have isolated problems. plenty logi users doin fine in ME.

Damn!! this problem was nagging me for a while with my Razer 2000/Win ME -Im glad to hear that this is not an isolated incident.
