2500k - 4.2 @ 1.25v
7850 - 1200/1450 @ 1.176v

was playing bf3 and after about an hour the screen went to black and gray vertical lines then shut down. i restarted and the bios said it crashed because of an OC, so the cpu clocks reset themselves.

is this CPU or GPU clock problem? how do i test?

Most likely GPU.

The good old "process of elimination" should work there. Put CPU back to stock and test, and see what happens. Next, the GPU.

The better way is to put both on stock first, then overclock one at a time and see how it goes.

OP you need more voltage at that GPU clock speed.

I need 1.3v for 1240mhz stable in games.

Be careful though; some people say 1.3v is too much.
