Vertical line after new video card install ?

I just installed a Prolink FX5200 128 video card on a shuttle an35n 400 system . I am getting a thin vertical grayish white line about 1" from the left side of the screen . Is this problem with the card ( defect) , bad monitor pixels, or what (diriver, compatibility ect) ? I would appreciate some help ( my RMA time for the video card is about to run out). Thanks

This is usually down to three things...bad ram on the card, the card overheating or too much of an overclock.

No overclocking here . So I guess the gard is bad. BTW - I just got an email back from Prolink to lower the refresh rate ( already at default ) and download the latest drivers . Maybe I'll try that before I box it up to go back .
